Rolls-Royce Hood Latches

Finally a hood latch for the Rolls-Royce that is in scale and looks like the prototype. These dandy bronze castings are a direct replacement for the thumbscrews in the kit, and require only a slight enlarging of the hole in the hood and flattening of the area around the hole.

The base of the latch covers the hole and the area to be flattened, so these latches could be used on an unpainted model. Bright nickel plating to match the Pocher hardware.

Oil Can

A brass oil can is just the thing to brighten up the lower regions of your Rolls-Royce engine compartment. High-polished brass, the Model Motorcars, Ltd. Oil Can has all the charm of the 1:1 Lucas version which was on RR PII's built at Derby. Oil drips not included.

We are trying to replace all the Pocher stamped metal pieces…these parts go a long way toward that goal! Almost a direct replacement…you will, however, give up working brakes (has anybody got them to work?) The trans kit includes everything needed for the modification, as shown in the photo.

Rolls Chassis Stands

Tired of rolling your Roller around upside down on the work bench? Tired of hearing the valve cover of your newly completed RR engine grinding against the metal shavings that dust your work surface? Hang your Rolls-Royce chassis with our new, fantabulous RR Chassis Stands.

These wonderful stands, based on a design by Tom Vitale, are custom fitted to the Pocher RR chassis. When the chassis is lifted, the stands swing free so that the chassis can be turned over. Wide bases give space for tools and parts, and height from the work surface allows space for hands.

Wonderful. These stands are built by Darel Magee especially for Model Motorcars, and they are made from aircraft aluminum (hard and strong) with a sanded finish.

Save those valve covers, protect those Flying Ladies, and amaze your friends.

Resin Replacement Seats for Rolls-Royce

Our resin replacement seats for the Pocher Rolls-Royce Sedanca and Ambassador kits.  These cast resin replacement seats fit directly into the kit-supplied seat frames and replace either the spring assemblies of the later kits or the molded vinyl seats of the earlier kits.  Either way, our new resin replacement seats make it easy to get a professional looking result.  Just add one of our leather kits to turn your Rolls-Royce project into an award winner.

These photos show how our new replacement seats fit into the frames. It is necessary to remove the mounting pins from the seat frames of earlier kits, but otherwise no modifications are necessary.

Rolls-Royce Spotlight

Intended to replace the kit-supplied spot light in the Sedanca (K-72) kit, our new spotlight is universal and would be a neat addition to any large scale model, including such esoterica as speedboats and fire engines.

Based on a standard Lucas ten-inch spotlight, our chrome-plated bronze casting comes with mounting screws, conduit for the wire, and a lens. Requires new holes.

Make those engines as tight as you want, now you can turn them with the new Model Motorcar Metal Hand Crank Handle.

Drilled and threaded for the 2mm Pocher shaft. Looks terrific mounted to the firewall. Nickel plated.
